I’m an Executive Brand & Content Strategist.

I’m a firm believer that content strategy has the biggest impact for brands when it does two things: shares real insights that actually help people and tells real stories that actually move people. Content ROI is commensurate to the Realness of your Intent.

For the last decade, I’ve helped in-house and agency teams keep it real, leading brand research and development, content strategy, UX and creative production for more than 35 clients across 6+ industries.

My ability to move between high-level strategy and in-the-weeds production, between executives and experts to general public and youth audiences, stems from my extensive training in mixed methods research and communications. I earned my Ph.D. in English, with top distinctions, from Indiana University in 2017 and my Postdoctoral certification in Digital Media and Humanities from Georgia Tech in 2021. I’m a national award-winning scholar, educator, speaker and author turned marketing executive, leading brands to the next level.

So what does that look like in the day to day? Well, I like to say I wear two hats that I call “thinking stuff” and “making stuff.”

Thinking stuff: I guide my clients toward their biggest goals, conducting market research and developing strategy, from brand positioning to content distribution plans to editorial calendars to learning and optimization.

Making stuff: Strategy doesn’t stop at the planning phase. It’s a necessary framework when you move into creative mode. That’s why I roll up my sleeves and do the work. When needed, I partner with the best SEOs, paid media buyers, designers, and developers in the industry to execute on top-quality content creation that meets our strategic goals. From websites to white papers to campaigns to video production, I’m an expert at developing impactful content that makes audiences lives easier and more enjoyable.
